A Wayside Shrine is a religious image, usually in some sort of small shelter, placed by a road or pathway, sometimes in a settlement or at a crossroads, but often in the middle of an empty stretch of country road, or at the top of a hill or mountain. The Wayside Shrine is designed as a part of the Walls & Fences system. However, you can use it as standalone feature as well.

Fences add a rural element as well as tactical play for obstructions. A few sets of them can create an intricate animal enclosure and all sorts of zany game play possibilities as well as a great way to space and separate structures!
